Admitted to the Gibraltar Bar in 2011, Nicholas gained diverse experience before becoming a Director at Ramparts. Initially, his practice focused on Criminal Litigation and Family Law across the Magistrates’ Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal.
He subsequently developed a strong background in FinTech, Corporate, and Commercial Law, which included multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, group restructures, mergers and acquisitions, token issuances, licence applications, and international tax planning.
Nicholas advises clients across various industries with both a local and international focus. His practice encompasses corporate transactional work, funds, distributed ledger technology matters, commercial projects, Defamation and Privacy Law, and Dispute Resolution.

Professional Activities
Since 2019, Nicholas has been a Director and Trustee of GibSams, a Gibraltar-registered mental health awareness and suicide prevention charity. He is a qualified teacher and a trained Mental Health First Aider, responsible for the charity’s legal governance, regulatory compliance, and educational outreach. He collaborates with the Department of Education on Gibraltar’s annual Mental Health and Wellbeing Festival, and an initiative he led on behalf of GibSams was nominated for a ‘Best Educational Project’ Gibraltar Cultural Award.
Nicholas serves as a Board Member of the Gibraltar Law Council and sits on the Gibraltar Finance Centre Council as a representative of the Gibraltar Electronic Money Association. He is also a member of the Law Council’s Education, Communication and Member Services Committee. He previously served as a Board Member of the Gibraltar Bar Council from 2017 to 2019.
He is a Member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
